Chinsura

Chinsura, also Chinsurah or Chuchura, is a city in Hooghly district of West Bengal in India. Hooghly-Chinsura is also the headquarter of the district, and of the Burdwan division. It is located on the right bank of the Hoogly, 20 miles north of Kolkata. It was originally a Dutch-built town with a college and had been famous for its cheroots.
