Forfar
Forfar is the county town of Angus in Scotland. This name was changed from Forfarshire in 1928, 14 miles northeast of Dundee, which have been known for linen manufactures. It was once an important royal residence, and was made a royal burgh by David I (1084-1153). Until that time the ares was called Angus after the brother of King Kenneth II (932-995) to whom it was granted by the king after his victory over the Picts.Nearby pages
