Haripada Chowdhury was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. Born 1913, Madanpara, faridpur, Bangladesh, s/o Late Akshoy Kumar Chowdhry( landlord and Govt. employee) was a student of B.A. while arrested in connection with the Watson shooting case On 15.10.1932. But tried separately under Arms and Explosives Act. Sentenced to 10 years R.I.deported to Andamans. Participated in the second hunger strike. Reaarested in 1938. Released 1939. Total jail period 7 years.
