Hemendra Nath Chakraborty
Hemendra Nath Chakraborty was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was from Pabna district now in Bangladesh. He was son of Herambanath Chakraborty. He had an education of Intermediate Arts. He belonged to Anusheelan Samity. He remained underground for about six years. He was arrested in connection with Atharabari Mail Action, and deported to the Andamans. He participated in the first hunger strike in the Cellular jail, May 1933 (45 days). His total jail period was about 8 years.Nearby pages
