Jacobites

Jacobites was a name given to certain partisans of Eutychean sect in the 17th century in the East, from the name of their leader. Jacobite Syrian Christian Church was noteworthy among the Church of the East. They followed teaching of Saint James. Jacobus being the Latin word for James, they were called Jacobites.
