Joannes Stobsaeus
Joannes Stobsaeus was a native of Stobi, in Macedonia. He flourished at the end of the 5th and beginning of the 6th century. He was celebrated as the compiler of a Greek Anthology (about AD 500) , through which many valuable extracts are preserved to us from works which have since his day been lost.Nearby pages
