Karl Ritter
Karl Ritter (1779-1859) was a celebrated German geographer, born at Quedlinburg. He was the founder of comparative geography. He was professor of geography at Berlin. His chief works are "Geography in its Relation to Nature," and the "History of Man".Nearby pages
