Mahabhairab Temple

Mahabhairab Temple is one of the ancient temples of Assam. It is said that King Bana worshipped Mahabhairab, an incarnation of Lord Shiva. It is a place of pilgrimage. This Shiva temple is regarded as the oldest Shiva shrine of the state where thousands converge on Shiv Ratri.
