Prafulla Majumdar

Prafulla Majumdar was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. Born in 1905 at Chandanpur- Dacca, now in Bangladesh, was son of Pitamber Majumdar. He belonged to Yugantar Party. He went underground for revolutionary work, and arrested in connection with Aranyapasha Arms And Explosive Seizure incident. Subsequently, he was sentenced to 7 years prison term, and deported to the Andamans. However, he was repatriated earlier on medical grounds. His total jail period about eight years.
