Sir Thomas Beecham
Sir Thomas Beecham (1879 — 1961) was an English conductor and impresario who influenced the musical life of Britain up to a great extent. He founded the London Philharmonic in 1932, and the Royal Philharmonic in 1947. He was also Britain's first international conductor.Nearby pages
