St Anthony of Padua

St Antony of Padua (1195-1231) was a Portuguese Franciscan friar known for his devotion to the poor, which is commemorated in a religious ceremony by alms known as St Anthony's bread. He commands such a respect among his followers that his name is invoked to find lost articles. Feast day is observed in his memory on June 13.
