TIME RIPE FOR AN IMPACT AUDIT
Nantoo Banerjee - 2020-01-13 12:10
The government’s latest resolve to invest as large as Rs 102 lakh crore in infrastructure is most welcome But, it may have little impact on the country’s shrinking economic growth unless they are properly executed, monitored in stages and their impacts thoroughly audited. The questions are naturally raised about the sources of such large funds, specific investment projects, their locations and implementation schedules and resultant impact on employment and national income.
