BJP’S DIRTY INSINUATION AGAINST SHAHEEN BAGH PROTESTORS

SHAH’S ARROGANCE SIGN OF STATE BLIND TO DEMOCRACY IN ACTION
Arun Srivastava - 2020-01-31 11:24
BJP experimenting violence with hatred has been gradually reaching to the flash point. This has not come as surprise. Amit Shah, the Home Minister has been providing it a perfect shape and character in the form of pitting Shaheen Bagh against India. In his election speeches in Delhi he has been harping on this aspect by saying that Shaheen Bagh has been endangering the social and political ethos of the country. The most ridiculous thing what he said was: “Listen voters on February 8, press the EVM button on lotus so hard that the shocks are felt in Shaheen Bagh.” No doubt only a person like Shah could speak this language.

CAPITALISM’S ‘KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY’ PROFILES US ALL
Joel Wendland-Liu - 2020-01-30 11:38
“Communicative capitalism,” writes the communist philosopher Jodi Dean, refers to a phase of knowledge- and technology-based commodity production in which information on a massive scale is produced, gathered, and sold for profit. What we now call the “information society” or “knowledge economy” sees the large-scale proletarianization of often highly-educated people in low-paying (often low-skilled) jobs, precariously scraping by to pay student loans, cover health insurance, and living paycheck to paycheck, wondering what happened to the “American Dream.”
