BHOPAL: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is finding the going tough in Vidisha - one of the two constituencies from where he is contesting the Assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh. While his position is quite comfortable in Budhni - the other seat from where he is in the fray - things are not at all smooth for him in Vidisha. Fully aware of the loss of prestige a defeat in the polls will entail for him, the chief minister has deployed an army of party workers, led by his wife, for campaigning in the constituency. His wife is camping in Vidisha - a district headquarter town about 60 km away from Bhopal - and going from door to door, seeking votes for her husband.

Elections to five state assemblies have reached a decisive stage with the battle lines having been finally drawn up. Though predicting the poll outcome is a gamble, one can, however, have a look at post-poll scenario. The elections are being held in Madhya Pradesh on November 25 and in Chhattisgarh polling has already been completed. Both the states are ruled by the BJP.
