NEW DELHI: The construction work of the NTPC project at Darlipali in Orissa shall commence soon with the assurance from the state government that the land acquisition shall be completed by December 10, 2012. Shri Arup Roy Choudhury, CMD, NTPC, Shri B.P. Rao CMD, BHEL and Shri N.N. Misra, Director (Operations), NTPC met the Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik yesterday to discuss issues delaying the commencement of the project.
