New Delhi: The former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam has called upon the students to discover the impossible. Delivering a lecture on 'National Character Building' at the Army Public School here today to mark the 'National Education Day', Dr Kalam asked the teachers to encourage the young minds to think differently. Underlining that the teachers are a vital part of nation-building, the visionary scientist-turned-statesman stressed on the value-based education to build a strong India.

New Delhi: Addressing the Plenary Session “Prospects of Russian-Indian Trade and Investment Relations Development” of 4th India-Russia Forum on Trade and Investments, here today, Shri Anand Sharma, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, said that the target of US $ 20 billion trade by 2015 is achievable provided all stakeholders put in concerted high efforts to meet it and added that “let us work together for a renewed thrust on bilateral trade and investment”.

New Delhi: The Fourth India-Russia Forum on Trade & Investment was organized by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, held here today. New Delhi: The Election Commission of India (ECI) and the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Russian Federation will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on mutual understanding and cooperation in the field of elections on 21st December, 2010 in New Delhi. The Memorandum will be signed by the Chief Election Commissioner of India Dr. S. Y. Quraishi and the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Yevgenyvich Churov. The Memorandum of Understanding follows a long tradition of bilateral exchanges and cooperation between the two Electoral Commissions.

The Central Board of Excise & Customs (CBEC) has released a draft scheme of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) based on the World Customs Organisation’s (WCO) SAFE Framework of Standards to secure and facilitate global trade.
