KOLKATA: Bangladesh authorities are working out a new system of fees to be levied on heavy equipment moving from India for dispatch to Tripura through its territory, according to reports in Dhaka-based Media. This comes in addition to the existing system of fees, as the bulk movement of goods became a reality, following an agreement signed between the two countries on November 30.

KOLKATA: The CPI(M) leaders and some of their allies of ruling Left Front in West Bengal such as the CPI have of late been inculcating a notional perception about signs of turnaround in favour of LF ending the pervading despair among the rank and file of LF after the debacle in the 15th parliamentary elections in 2009. One of the hidden reasons for this optimism is delimitation of constituencies.
