Benchmark prices for Nutrient Based Subsidy on fertilizers to be revised

New Delhi: The Union Cabinet today accorded approval for the proposals for revision in the benchmark prices for Nutrient Based Subsidy (NBS) 2011-12, w.e.f 1st April, 2011 for Phosphatic and Potassic (P&K) fertilizers.

Approval for Intensified Malaria Control Project-II for North Eastern States

New Delhi: The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the proposal of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare for Intensified Malaria Control Project-II (IMCP-II) for seven North Eastern States (except Sikkim) under National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP) with support from Global Fund for AIDS, TB and Malaria (GFATM - Round 9) at an estimated cost of US$ 87.88 million (Rs. 417.22 crore).
