India identifies 29 slum free mega destinations/circuits for tourism

New Delhi: The Tourism and Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation Minister Kumari Selja has said that her Ministry has identified 29 mega destinations/circuits on the basis of footfalls and their future potential for tourism projects.

The suspicion voiced by Indian sources that the Pakistan foreign secretary, Salman Bashir, took his orders from the army has been substantiated by a member of an American think tank. According to Daniel Markey, a senior fellow of the Council on Foreign Relations, Bashir's “prickliness” at the press conference after his talks with his Indian counterpart, Nirupama Rao, sounded “a lot like what we have traditionally got out of the Pakistan army”.
