Abu Musa

Abu Musa is a small island in the Persian Gulf.

It belongs to the emirate of Sharjah from 1992. It was part of Iran in between 1971 and 1992 because of an agreement between Sharjah and Iran. Prior to the agreement in 1971, it was held by Sharjah.
