Banksia

Banksia is an evergreen shrub native to Australia. It is named after the famous English botanist Sir Joseph Banks. It typically bears narrow leathery leaves and spikes of flowers resembling bottlebrush. It belongs to the genus Banksia, and the family Proteaceae.
