RAHUL GANDHI HAS TO DO QUICK FOLLOWUP ON HIS GAINS FROM BHARAT JODO YATRA

THE CONGRESS MP HAS LITTLE TIME TO LOSE IF HE WANTS TO TAKE ON NARENDRA MODI
Sushil Kutty - 2023-03-21 10:41
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is a late bloomer. That said, he has been a Member of Parliament several times over and, therefore, cannot be reduced to a Johnny-come-lately. And after Amethi, he wasn’t a stranger to the voters of Wayanad. But it is hardly likely that Rahul Gandhi will retrace his steps to Amethi, the constituency that rejected him but was also a pocket borough of the Gandhi family for the longest of time.

RSS NATIONAL MEET HAS TAKEN FIRM POSITION AGAINST RAHUL GANDHI

PRATINIDHI SABHA DELEGATES SEE CONGRESS MP AS THE BIGGEST ENEMY
Arun Srivastava - 2023-03-21 10:34
After the recent meeting of the RSS’s Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) there is no ambiguity now that Narendra Modi or his ministerial colleagues or even the BJP leaders hardening their stand against Rahul Gandhi and seeking his apology are being ordained at the behest of the RSS. The one liner comment from the home minister Amit Shah is the only dissenting narration. Home minister Amit Shah said to allow the parliament function the government was ready to talk to opposition to end the logjam. He even said; “the government was ready to go “two steps ahead” to resolve the standoff if the Opposition took “two steps forward”.

FAILURE OF DRUG REGULATOR TO ENSURE QUALITY MEDICINES

M.Y. Siddiqui - 2023-03-21 05:38
Recent deaths in Gambia, Uzbekistan and the USA, caused by toxic and contaminated medicines manufactured in and exported by India, has put a question mark on the oversight, efficacy and quality control mechanism of the drugs regulator, the Central Drugs Standard Control 0rganisation (CDSCO). Be it the quality control of both branded and generic medicines, their pricing, rampant manufacturing and marketing of spurious drugs across the country, collusion of National Medical Commission (NMC) and CDSCO, thriving of drug mafia impacting diagnostics, prescriptive medicines, commercialization of healthcare system as a whole are symptomatic of the malaise of all round failure of both the regulators, resulting in fleecing of the people. Medical doctors in private corporate hospitals working on periodic target basis for both diagnostic and prescriptive medicines, in case of failing to meet the target, are fired instantly, is yet another scam indicating crass commercialization and high costs of healthcare, happening with the connivance of the regulators.

THERE IS NO SCOPE FOR PRE-LOK SABHA POLL TOTAL OPPOSITION UNITY TO TAKE ON NARENDRA MODI

CONGRESS AND REGIONAL PARTIES CAN WORK HARD IN THEIR STRONGHOLDS TO DEFEAT THE BJP IN 2024
Nitya Chakraborty - 2023-03-20 12:29
There are lot of discussions in the media about the recent meeting of the Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee with the Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav in which both of them said that they would explore the possibility of bringing together the political parties opposed to both the Congress and the BJP. Both the leaders opined against giving the leadership of the opposition to the Congress. Some commentators are saying as if this position of the two leading opposition parties will lead to big cracks in opposition unity efforts facilitating the process of bringing the BJP to power for the third time after 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

CONGRESS LEADER WAS DRAWING ATTENTION TO UGLY MALAISE IN PRESENT-DAY INDIA
Arun Srivastava - 2023-03-20 11:55
A Sanskrit adage “vinas kale viprit buddhi” has once again made its incredible appearance in the political circles. It was in 1975 Jayprakash Narayan had used it for Indira Gandhi when she instead of taking recourse to debate and discussion and find out the solution to the vexed political situation the country was facing at that time, imposed Emergency and pushed the opposition leaders in jail.
