Brahm

Brahm is a name given to the Supreme God in the Hindu religion and philosophy. He is believed to be the formless spirit of the Universe, from which all beings issue and into which they all merge, and as such is not an object of worship, but a subject of meditation.

The Brahm is known by the mind, but is not seen by the eyes. There are three aspects of Brahm - the creator, the maintainer, and the destroyer. These three aspects are known as Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh respectively. The formless God is known as Nirgun Brahm, and the God in physical form is known as Sagun Brahm. Thus, the three aspects are Nirgun Brahm, while as the member of the Hindu trinity, they are worshiped as objects or in human forms.
