MADHYA PRADESH ASSEMBLY ADJOURNS AMIDST ACRIMONY

CONGRESS MEMBERS ARE ALSO WITH GOVT
L S Herdenia - 2019-12-24 10:22
BHOPAL: Another session of Madhya Pradesh Assembly elected in 2018 has ended abruptly without completing the duration for which it was summoned. Abrupt adjournment was the fate of the assembly elected in 2013 also. At that time BJP occupied the treasury benches and Congress was in the opposition. Now roles have reversed. Now Congress controls the government and the BJP is in the opposition. No business in the interest of the common men could be done except the passage of supplementary budged.

TRIBALS IN JHARKHAND REVOLTED AGAINST BJP

DAS GOVT ACTED TO PROTECT INDUSTRIALISTS
Arun Srivastava - 2019-12-24 10:20
Raghubar Das’s subterfuge to own up the responsibility for the defeat of BJP in Jhakhand is purely a latent machination to provide a cover to his leaders Narendra Modi and Amit Shah from cadres’ censure. More than being an anti-incumbency verdict this ought to be construed as a peoples’ denunciation of policies and ideology of Modi-Shah combination.

JHARKHAND RESULTS SHOW MODI-SHAH MAGIC ON THE WANE

JMM’S HEMANT SOREN WINS ON PRO-FOREST RIGHTS TRIBAL TRUST
Kalyani Shankar - 2019-12-24 10:17
The impressive win by the Mahagathbandhan in Jharkhand indeed sends a powerful political message, though it is a small state. This is the second state that the BJP has lost in the past six months after Maharashtra. The Modi-Shah duo will have to take a step back and reflect, as with the addition of Jharkhand, the non-BJP governments in the country now control more than 65 per cent of the population. Democracy indeed is a great leveller. No doubt the results show that the Modi magic is on the wane even though he had emerged so much stronger just six months ago with an impressive win in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
